This policy explains what personal information Leader LLC d/b/a AquaMind ("AquaMind", "we", "us") collects through this website, why, and the choices you have. It covers visitors everywhere, including the rights of residents of the EU/UK, California, and Colorado.

What we collect, and why

When you request a quote or start a subscription

The checkout form asks for your name, business name, email address, phone number, and billing/shipping address. We use this to respond to your request, set up your account, and ship any hardware you order. Legal basis (EU/UK): taking steps at your request before a contract, and performing that contract.

Payments

If you pay online, payment is handled on Stripe's own secure pages. We never receive or store your full card number. Stripe processes your payment and card details as an independent processor under its own privacy policy.

Security and anti-fraud

To protect the order form from abuse, we log the IP address you submit from alongside your request and use it for rate-limiting and abuse prevention; when bot protection is active, requests also pass through Cloudflare Turnstile. Legal basis (EU/UK): our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. How long we retain these logs is covered under "How long we keep it" below.

Site storage

The site keeps a few pieces of information in your browser's local storage to work — for example, the plan you selected. We do not use advertising cookies. The full list is in our Cookie Policy.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how this site is used: pages viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and the kind of device and browser. If you are in the UK, the EU, the EEA or Switzerland, this does not run at all until you accept it — we use Google's consent mode, so no analytics storage is used on your device before then. Elsewhere it runs unless you switch Analytics off.

Google receives your IP address in order to do this, and discards it after deriving an approximate location; we do not see it through Analytics, and we do not use Analytics to identify you, to advertise to you, or to build a profile. Google Signals and ad personalisation are switched off on our property. You can opt out at any time from — doing so stops the measurement and deletes the cookies it set — or with Google's own browser add-on.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the site, each acting under contract:

Stripe — payment processing.
Cloudflare — bot and abuse protection (when active).
GoDaddy — hosting this website and storing order requests.
Google — website analytics.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may store and process personal information in the United States. Where we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable) as the transfer mechanism.

How long we keep it

We keep order requests and account information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize it. Security logs, including the IP addresses described above, are kept only for as long as needed for abuse prevention.

In practice, we keep order requests and account records for seven (7) years, which reflects the record-keeping periods that apply to our tax and accounting obligations, and we keep security logs and the IP addresses described above for ninety (90) days.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights:

EU / UK (GDPR): access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data; object to processing; withdraw consent; and complain to your data protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA): know, delete, and correct your information; opt out of sale or sharing (note: we do not sell or share); limit use of sensitive information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Colorado (CPA): access, correct, delete, and port your data, and opt out of sale and targeted advertising.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, give notice on the site.
